My Tomorrow.
Involves a drum circle
at a conference.
I will be getting paid to drum.
I am a winner.
there is something inherently New York about taxis.
I have been lucky enough to (try to) hail a cab in many a city,
New York, Athens, Stockholm, Barcelona, Paris, Brighton, London…
but there is something about a New York City taxi.
A bit of fight to find one, especially early in the am, late at night
A bit of adventure, the random ads and the music your driver plays.
The bits of the...

After a year in a windowless room I finally got upgraded to a bigger office with WINDOWS! It is amazing what a difference they make! I’m still working on the space, and need to fancy up the guest desk but welcome to my new 9-5 home!
The view from the door!
I take my tea very seriously.

one of those bot-tles is for me! (said the British way) (in my terrible accent)
On Montauk and her toys.
Montauk has an orange toy, it is a bit like a Kong and can be stuffed with treats,
If she picks it up and drops it, normally she is rewarded with something tasty.
It is hilarious to watch her walk around the apartment throwing this thing in the air, waiting for something to pop out. She is so earnest in her pursuit.
The issue is that she is now convinced that every one of her toys has this...

Days ago I was making some changes, moving away and moving on.
This year I have lived all over Manhattan and stayed in flats and hotels around the world.
I spent time on the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side, Church Road in Hove and Embassy Court in Brighton. I knew the security guards at The Venetian Hotel by heart. I drove to pick up breakfast in Westhampton and walked downstairs in many a...
