The Initials and I do not live together, and so some of my stuff resides at his apartment and some of his stuff resides at mine (to be honest, a lot more of my stuff lives with him, a whole lot more). Reason #142 The Initials rocks - he DVR’d The Bachelor last night for me and then watched it with me late night when we got home from 8 Mile Creek and cheered when Stephanie stayed! He was a fan of Meghan though and we were both bummed when she went home.

I got 1/2 of The Initials birthday gift from Etsy this year - custom made antique map cufflinks, I will post a photo after I see him tonight, they are awesome!

I just got a s’prise I ordered from Etsy in the mail - since part of the s’prise is for The Initials and he always reads my tumblr I can’t post until tomorrow - but it is AWESOME!
Today is my friend C’s birthday - I always write people poems (not great ones, silly ones) and I decided to post it because I thought Georgie would be proud that I incorporated Australia Day into it.

We are making chicken stir fry for dinner, The Initials is a little tipsy from playing Beirut at the bar after football, I am sober because I got hit in the head 9 times at football today - some by rogue footballs and some by large men on the other team - I don’t think I am fully concussed, but I didn’t want to test my luck. So tipsy Initials decided to purchase endive and radicchio...
PS - in Zogsports each team plays for a charity of their choice, when you win they give you a check for your charity. We’ve played for Puppies Behind Bars (yay Georgie!) And a myriad of cancer charities - its a great (and fun) way to give back!
In case you didn’t notice our team color is orange - we played for www.orangelaces.com (Ing Run for Something Better) last year and they sent us orange shoe laces - we take our uniforms very seriously.

The Initials and I are spending this sunny (albeit chilly) Saturday in his apartment figuring out stats for our adult, charity two hand touch football league.
If you’re wondering, we are 2-1 going into our game tomorrow vs. a team we are tied with. This game determines playoff standings - yes we are major weekend warrior nerds.
