Montauk has an orange toy, it is a bit like a Kong and can be stuffed with treats,
If she picks it up and drops it, normally she is rewarded with something tasty.
It is hilarious to watch her walk around the apartment throwing this thing in the air, waiting for something to pop out. She is so earnest in her pursuit.
The issue is that she is now convinced that every one of her toys has this treat producing magic.
Montauk weight 72 pounds, when she stands on her hind legs she is as tall as I am (5’6”)
Her bones are large (I call them dinosaur bones), when she throws them in the air the ground shakes. She gets so excited though…MOM! THERE ARE TREATS TO BE FOUND.
So luckily the apartment is the garden level and there are no downstairs neighbors, because if there were, they would be all earthquake ready.
